Janthijn Siebert

Janthijn Siebert has been a solicitor since 2003 and, in September 2011, founded the firm Siebert & Becker Advocaten en Fiscalisten together with Bert Becker. Since March 2020, this firm has been part of HAUT Legal, with offices in the Haarlem and Utrecht regions.

Janthijn specialises in the broad field of corporate law and primarily advises medium-sized and large companies and institutions on a wide range of legal issues. In addition to the legal aspects of a case, he also acts as a sparring partner for many entrepreneurs. He is deeply committed to his clients and readily available.

Within his insolvency law practice, he is not only active as a liquidator or administrator, but also assists directors facing liability claims and advises creditors who have been adversely affected by a bankruptcy. In the event of reorganisations or impending bankruptcy, he assesses, amongst other things, whether transactions may lead to prejudice to creditors (pauliana), directors’ liability or transfer of undertaking, including the consequences for staff.

In addition, he regularly acts as a liquidator in the dissolution of companies. Internationally operating companies have also engaged him for this purpose. Furthermore, he regularly assists buyers or sellers in (complex) takeover transactions.
