Janthijn Siebert

I have been a lawyer since 2003. In September 2011 Bert Becker and I founded Siebert & Becker Lawyers and Tax Consultants. From March 2020, this office will be part of HAUT Legal, with offices in Haarlem, Heemstede and Utrecht.

I am a specialist in the broad field of business law, where I often assist medium-sized and large companies/institutions with all kinds of advisory issues. In addition to the legal side of the matter, I also act as a sparring partner for entrepreneurs. Available 24/7, fully committed to my clients.

In my insolvency law practice, I am not only active as an insolvency practitioner and administrator, but I also assist directors who are held liable and I advise creditors who have been disadvantaged by insolvency. In the event of reorganisations or imminent liquidations, I can assess whether transactions lead to disadvantaging creditors (paulian action), directors’ liability or transfer of operations (and personnel).

I also regularly act as liquidator in the event of the winding-up of companies. Large internationally operating companies have enlisted my help for this. Finally, I recently completed the Postgraduate course in Mergers and Acquisitions at Grotius Academy and I regularly assist buyers or sellers in (complex) acquisition transactions.
